Step Team

The following assignments use footage from the Step Team raw footage packs. Teachers can access the raw footage files in the “Download” tab above. Students can download the raw footage files from the student page.

In this fun and challenging exercise, students watch an edit of the step team feature story and try to recreate the edit using the same raw footage.

Difficulty: Easy - Intermediate
Groups: 1-2

Students choose a sound bite, write a voice over introducing the sound bite, and cover the voice over with relevant b-roll.

Difficulty: Intermediate
Groups: 1-2

Students use the b-roll and sound bites from the raw footage pack but add their own reporter voice over based on a list of provided facts.

Difficulty: Advanced
Groups: 1-2
